"It was packed with people aged, 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and even 60's, married couples, single, straight, gay, lesbian, rockabilly,
50's enthusiasts, lindy hoppers.

Review 3/07/09 Express & Echo

I’d been keen to go to one of Kinky & Quirky’s monthly
Burlesque and Boogie nights at Havana Exeter
since it began,so jumped at the chance to attend
June’s offering.
Having not been to Havana for some time I’d forgotten what a
great space it was for nights like this.
Walking in we could see that almost all of the tables
and seats had been reserved. Obviously this was a popular event!
Compere and all- round gorgeous lady Sarah, a.k.a. Quirky,
spent the evening introducing beautiful ladies from
the South West and the North East,
all of whom provided some mild titillation and an awful lot of fun. Music boxes, sailor lasses, cider drinking farmer girls and
a fair few tassels
graced the stage throughout the night.
The audience loved them and teamed with some great music for dancing and a set by singer Becky Brine,
it was the best Saturday night I’ve had out in Exeter for a long time.
Speaking to other guests, many of whom were
‘dressed to impress’ and were of all ages,
they seemed to share in the sentiment that it was  a brilliantly         organized and greatly entertaining night.”
