KINKY & QUIRKY'S BURLESQUE AND BOOGIE
For the past three years as Devon’s only dedicated burlesque funsters ‘K&Q’ have successfully combined innovative entertainers with great music so once a month retro loving cats and kittens are offered a night of old school glamour with a modern twist in Devon.
Sell out events have been described by customers as ‘an absolutely kick ass night’, ‘wonderful’, ‘FAB’, and we are told repeatedly ‘this is one of the best nights out I have ever been on’.
These monthly burlesque nights are extremely popular with a mixed crowd; think Moulin Rouge meets 1950’s Cuba, men, women, straight, gay and everything inbetween and beyond.

There are no set rules at a Kinky & Quirky event so there have been dancing girls, chanson singers, comedians, circus performers, mime artistes and striptease artistes selected for their quality work and entertainment.
Many performers appear in the South West exclusively at K&Q and the night is highly regarded as one of the best on the U.K burlesque and cabaret scene.

Kinky & Quirky's ‘authentic burlesque night’ can be experienced at the fabulous Club Rainbow in the seaside town of Torquay. This stunning venue has a large, fully lit, red curtained, central stage, great sound system operated from a gold lame dj booth, wooden dance floor and cabaret style, tiered tables and chairs with candles.

Venus Noir shows the basic burlesque moves including bumps, grinds and
shimmies, before introducing a routine with classic moves, glove removal and creating lovely shapes
whilst taking off stockings.
This is not a burlesque stripping workshop and will not include tassel-twirling or nudity.
Whether
you want to improve your confidence, raise your self esteem or just have fun this class is a giggle if you come on
your own or with friends.
